Research interests

My research interests are principally in algebraic combinatorics, especially where commutative algebra or algebraic geometry apply, including matroid theory and tropical geometry. I am currently also interested in the intersections of tropical geometry with other areas, such as geometric group theory and non-Archimedean geometry.
